Demi Lovato made a fashion statement this past weekend while she was in Canada. Apparently the 90's are back in style, Just ask Justin Bieber. Lovato was in Canada for her We Own the Night tour and while she was there she decided that if she was in Bieber's home country she might as well dress like him.
Lovato was seen wearing wearing a skirt and black tights, booties with hoop earrings. The most interesting segment of Demi Lovato's ensemble was a T-shirt bearing with LL Cool J's picture from his 1990's I Need Love era, along with a white, three-quarter sleeve jacket.
Lovato isn't the only one wearing a 90's style outfit. If you remember, earlier this year Justin Bieber was seen wearing the same kind of white jacket along with a Saved by the Bell T-shirt with Kelly Kapowski's face on it. When Bieber did it people couldn't stop talking about it.
Other celebrities have been seen wearing 90's style outfits including Miley Cyrus during her recent tour. She didn't have a T-shirt with a 90's celebrity on it, but her outfit in general had a 90's feel and look.
It's funny how styles come back. During the 80's the 60's look cam back for a while. During the 90's bell-bottoms and the 70's came back for a while. The early 2000's saw a brief comeback of the 80's and now during the second decade of this millennium the 90's are making a comeback. It appears that every decade the new generation decides to bring back the look from 20 years earlier. It's funny how the more things change the more they stay the same.
