Demi Lovato will make her first live performance as she will be one of the performers at the 2011 Do Something Awards. Lovato is set to perform her hit single Skyscraper for the first time live during the award show. She joins other recording artists Foster the People, One Republic and B.o.B. while Glee star Jane Lynch will host the ceremony to help celebrate the nation's best young go-getters who represent the primary "do-ers" in their respective areas. This news helps clear the confusion as The Insider television program originally aired that Selena Gomez was set to perform at the award ceremony.

Other celebrities expected to attend include Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Adam Lambert, David Beckham, Kristen Bell, Russell Brand, Prince William and Duchess Catherine and many more. Some will present awards while others have been nominated in an array of categories for all they have done to inspire young people, be it through films or charitable efforts. The 2011 Do Something Awards will air Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 9 p.m. EST on VH1.
