Sure she may be holed up in rehab, but she is supposedly up for a role in what will be alongside a star-studded cast. We’ve got the details here!

The Avengers movie is going to be a star-studded cast and Demi Lovato could be landing a job. Starting on April 1st, 2011, the movie will begin shooting. So when will we know if Demi lands the part? It might not be until she gets out of rehab that we get any official word.

The Avengers is set to be released on May 4th, 2012. The film is about a team of Marvel Comics characters that will have to work together to battle their enemies! The cast will include such names as: Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Clark Gregg and Jeremy Renner. Hello, box office! This movie is being hyped as one of the biggest movies under the Marvel comics label!

In other Lovato news, we are hearing that the Disney star has reached a settlement with Alex Welch, the dancer that she allegedly had a physical fight with back in October. TMZ reported that “The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely.

” I just hope that rehab helps Demi. It would be such a sad deal to see such talent go to waste (right, Lindsay Lohan?) I’m thinking that a role in The Avengers could definitely help Demi Lovato revamp her career image after her public scuffle and bad publicity she has received as of late. What do you think?
