Demi Lovato earns People's Choice Awards nomination

Demi Lovato has earned her first People's Choice Awards nomination. She has been nominated for Favorite Breakout Music Artist.
She will have tough competition as she is up against Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Lady Gaga, and Susan Boyle.
The People's Choice Awards will air January 6, 2010 at 9 EST on CBS. Over the summer, Demi Lovato's sophomore album Here We Go Again debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
Kerri Mason of Billboard had described her as "a natural talent who could really take flight after outgrowing Disney."
Hannah Montana stars Miley Cyrus and Emily Osment have been nominated for People's Choice Awards in the category of Favorite Breakout Movie Actress.
They will be up against Anna Kendrick, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Zoe Saldana. Taylor Swift earned nominations in multiple categories including Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Country Artist.
